MCT is planning to work alongside Minas Basin Pulp and Power to install the operationally submerged SeaGen "U" system with three similar rotors and power units as used on the existing form of SeaGen, as illustrated below. This system is rated at up to 3.0 MW at 2.4m/s depending on rotor diameter. As such it will be the most powerful known tidal turbine system in the world.
