Peter Clutterbuck, Construction Director

Peter is a Chartered Civil Engineer with well rounded managerial, practical and commercial experience of heavy marine civil engineering works. Projects undertaken include marine pile construction for offshore wind farm, major port and bridge works; sewer outfall riser drilling and installation; pipeline trench and stone protection works; shore protection; jetty and quay construction; dredging and reclamation; offshore survey and site investigation; together with port, civil, mechanical and electrical procurement and maintenance. Currently a member of the executive team responsible for the development of Seacore's main contractor and sub-contractor role in civil engineering marine construction, based on rock drilling and jack-up expertise. Experience has been obtained in an international context, with major project supervision in Saudi Arabia covering all aspects from initial tender submission to final certificate negotiation and including successful recognition of significant claims. Experience with Forth Ports Authority included provision of tug and other marine services to Shell Gas and BP Crude Oil terminals, re-organisation of the engineering maintenance function of the Authority and establishment of a new universal pilotage system for the Forth Estuary when the Authority took over the pilotage function.
